Paris Summer
Heute habe ich einen Film entwickelt zurück bekommen, den ich unter meinem ganzen Krimskrams gefunden habe. Die meißten Bilder sind einfach nur crazy Partyfotos, doch ganz am Anfang des Filmes befanden sich ein paar wenige Aufnahmen von meinem guten Freund Hannes aus Deutschland. Ich war mit ihm und einigen Freunden aus Wien im Sommer letzten Jahres nach Paris geflogen um dort zu skaten. Hierbei sind auch diese Bilder entstanden.
Hier noch eine super schöne experimentelle Montage mit viel Super 8 footage, die er mir gerade erst gezeigt hat. Ich hoffe euch gefällts genau so gut wie mir.

Pötzleinsdorf Snowboard fun
Vor einer guten Woche haben sich ein paar Freunde aus dem Salzburger Land auf den Weg gemacht Robin, Marius und mich in unserer neuen WG zu besuchen.
Es wurde gefeiert und herumgeblödelt bis zum bitteren Ende und glücklicherweiße war sogar noch etwas Schnee zu finden bei uns im 18. Wiener Gemeindebezirk, so dass wir uns mit den Jungs, David, Flo, Weazel und Fuchsi auf in einen einen kleinen Park in Pötzleinsdorf machten um etwas Spass zu haben.

the lonely cowboy

Ihr kennt ihn wahrscheinlich eher als Fotografen und habt einige seiner Werke z.B. im Last try Magazin gesehn. Nun hat er aber sein gesamtes Skatefootage, dass so in den letzten Jahren entstanden ist, zusammen gesucht und einen Part daraus gezaubert. hier ist nun das gute Stück
Einige seiner und Lukas Mauls fotografischer Arbeiten zum Thema Skateboarding könnt ihr morgen beim Elektrofachadel im Celeste bestaunen. Hier noch der Flyer zu der ganzen Geschichte.

AM I ON DEMAND
Das zweite Video, dass ich euch vorstellen möchte ist Frido Fiebingers nun, lasst mich überlegen sechstes oder siebtes Movie und trägt den Namen “Am i on demand”.
Ich muss zugeben ich war wirklich positiv überrascht, da ich mir ein richtiges “Don’t give a fuck” Video erwartet habe.
Ganz gegenteilig ist es dann aber doch nicht und Am i on demand ist deutlich das dreckigste und rougheste Video aus Fridos Händen, jedoch ist durchgehend eine gewisse Selbstironie und der Charme Fridos Film/Editing Stiles erkennbar.
Die Parts gliedern sich in die übergebliebenen Why Jungs: Frido, Wolfi Enöckl, Klemens Schachinger und Schörgi, dazugekommene Kameraden wie Chrisse Vogelbauer, Vincent Tschaiker, Thomas Fuchs, Jan Schiefermair und Stefan Sperka. Es gibt eine Yama Section und auch einen Part der Jungs aus Wels.
“Am i on demand” ist ein weiteres Video von Frido Fiebinger und seine Handschrift ist auch deutlich erkennbar, jedoch ist es wieder deutlich anders als alle seine Videos zuvor.
Es ist kein Yama Video und auch kein neues Why, es ist einfach das zusammengekommene Footage der Menschen um Ihn herum. Definitiv ein sehenswertes Stück österreichischem Skateboardings.

VISUAL PERCEPTION
Am 23. Jänner fand die Premiere von Martin Fehrers nun zweitem Skateboard Movies “Visual Perception” im Schikaneder Kino statt.Ich bin kein Fan von reinen Fisheye/Banger Skatevideos und vermisse in der Szene Projekte, die etwas neues schaffen und versuchen den Spass an Skateboarding zu vermitteln. So hat es Visual Perception aus dieser Sicht leider bis auf kleine Ausnahmen auch nicht geschafft.Was Martins Video aber aufjedenfall bietet ist straight skateboarding mit gutem editing und man muss Martin Fehrer lassen, in nur einem Jahr ein komplettes Video auf die Beine zustellen auf diesem Niveau ist eine starke Leistung. Zudem schlägt Visual Perception was Sachen skating, filming und editing angeht den vorgänger “Another Trauma” bei weitem.Die Parts sind durchwegs auf sehr gutem Niveau. Die einen überzeugen durch harte Tricks, andere wiederum durch einfallsreichtum und gutem style, doch einer stich besonders heraus.Der letzte Part von Michael Widowitz. Technisch sehr starkes skateboarding mit lockeren Style untermalt von einem super schönen Song. Einfach ein Genuss zuzusehn.Alles in allem ein feines Video und man kann gespannt sein was der junge Herr Fehrer noch so zaubert.
Die DVD gibts für nen 10er beim Rock’n'Roll Skateshop in der Gumpendorferstraße.
Martin der Macher dieses Videoprojektes und Ben Beofsich der ebenfalls sein neues Videoprojekt anfang März veröffentlichen wird. mehr info auf melangeskateboarding.at

Frido Fiebinger, dessen neuestes Movie ich euch im Video hype #2 näher bringen möchte.
Fotografen unter sich. Lukas und Clemens. Einige ihrer Werke kann man am 26.02 beim Elektrofachadel im Celeste sehen. 
Thomas Schmid der auch mit einem technisch starkem Part im Visual Perception aufwarten kann.
Ali Krisa, der vorallem durch sehr relaxten und chilligem style in Martin Fehrers Video auffählt.
Es wird wahrscheinlich eine Verlosung zusammen mit VICE.at von DVDs “Visual Perception” und “Am i on Demand” geben. Genauere Informationen gebe ich noch bekannt.
Spotlight on Florian Altenberger
I want to intruduce you to a young raising railshreder and also good friend of mine. Flo is 17 years old and he lives near Salzburg. This year is his first really fertile season, filming, riding contest and also shooting photos. This week i spent a few days at home in Salzburg and here you have the result of a nice little session at our hometown skatepark.

I was just skyping with Alexander G. because he’s over there in sunny Florida, visiting his Brother and Dad. He’s just chilling and skating with Andi and all the Southflorida dudes. Agenda Suicide
Long long time ago… I just recently put the whole “Agenda Suicide” Movie plus the Bonus Friendsection and a alternate Version of my Part on Vimeo. This was the first Skateboardmovie that i produced with the age of 16 i think with my friends from my hometown in Salzburg.
It’s always so funny for me to watch the movie. Things were just so different back in the days but it’s always a nice memory of a good time. I hope you have fun watching.

On this Weekend Max, Flo and i went to Schladming to visit our good friend Alex. We had the blast with him. On sunday we were snowboarding and Filming funny stuff in the park at Planai, just talking shit like all day. This is the little clip from that really funny snowboard day. Drunken Monkeys
This week i went home to Salzburg for the Holidays and to go snowboarding with my friends. Yesterday Flo, Dani, Julian, David and i went to Flachauwinkel. The conditions weren’t that good and unfortunetly Dave hurt himself in the first run, but we just tried to make the best out of it and started filming some stupid stuff with my Digicam. so check out the small Clip: “Drunken Monkeys”

bone chilling cold
The winter finally arrived here and it got really freezing cold. That’s kinda funny because i was skating around the city with Thomas a few days ago and we were only wearing a T-shirt.
So it’s not the ideal conditions to go out skating anymore but nonetheless and because of the good weather today did my flatmates and i go to the skatepark near our apartment and were just enjoying a nice session.

On the other hand side when it’s so cold outside, there’s a lot of time for other creative things like Videoediting or art. i am working on a few different things at the moment such as Stickers wich will be out there after holidays and also a small Quicksnapervideo montage.
I am also trying to improve this site a little bit. so there are a few different things on the “Page” button such as a photo, video and art gallary but i am still working on some small improvements.
This is my latest artwork. i kinda made it because of an accident but i think it turned out pretty good. It’s photoprint/spraypaint on a skateboard showing my good friend from Miami “Rick”.

My friends from SBG and i did that crazy Promo-job in the middle of the night. It was about 7 AM when i came home. We woke up at 8 AM to go snowboarding at Dachstein.

no winter this year
It seems like the usual cold and wet austrian Winter just doesn’t want to show up. In the last few days and weeks we had pretty good weather with quite warm temperatures, so it was perfect to go out skate a bit and take photos.
I am sorry for not updating the Blog that often lately and maybe you even recognized, i fucked up the side for a few days. I am pretty busy at the moment doing stuff for Uni and living, but there will be some improvements as photo and video galleries and stuff.
